Session Times

​We are a term-time only nursery, operating for 38 to 39 weeks of the year and broadly following Leicestershire County Council term dates.​​​ Our opening hours are ​Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 4.00pm, Friday 9.00am - 1.00pm.

​Morning Session       9.00am - 12.00pm

Lunch Club               12.00pm - 1.00pm

Afternoon Session     1.00pm - 4.00pm

We recommend that children attend a minimum of two sessions per week where possible. Regular attendance helps children settle more quickly, build friendships and feel confident within the nursery environment.

Nursery Fees (correct to January 2027)

For children attending unfunded sessions or additional hours beyond their funded entitlement.

Full Day (9.00am - 4.00pm) 

Aged 3 to 5 years                  £56.00 per day

Aged 2 to 3 years                  £59.50 per day

Aged 9 months to 2 years     £63.00 per day

Morning or Afternoon Session (9.00am - 12.00pm or 1.00pm - 4.00pm)

 

Aged 3 to 5 years                  £24.00 per session

Aged 2 to 3 years                  £25.50 per session

Aged 9 months to 2 years     £27.00 per session

 

Lunch Club (12.00pm - 1.00pm) Children may bring a healthy packed lunch in line with our Packed Lunch Policy, or purchase a hot meal.

 

Aged 3 to 5 years                  £8.00

Aged 2 to 3 years                  £8.50

Aged 9 months to 2 years     £9.00

Additional Charges

 

Hot meals are available to purchase and are supplied by St Joseph's Catholic Voluntary Academy.

Hot Meals                              £3.00 per meal

 

Late Collection Charges - To ensure children remain appropriately supervised and staffing levels can be maintained, late collection charges apply when children are collected after their agreed session end time.
 

Up to 10 minutes late            £10.00

More than 30 minutes late     £25.00

Thereafter                              £5.00 for every additional 10 minutes.

Registration and Deposits

​

A refundable registration deposit of £50 is required to reserve a nursery place. For funded children, this deposit is refunded at the end of the first term provided the place has been taken up. If a child does not start on the agreed date, the registration deposit is non-refundable.

For children attending unfunded sessions, or where additional unfunded hours are taken up, a deposit equal to one month's fees is required. We hold this deposit for the duration of your child’s placement and refund it on the final fees invoice, subject to the notice period and any outstanding balances.

Payment Terms

​

• Fees are payable within 7 days of the invoice date.

• A 10% surcharge may be applied to overdue accounts.

• Fees remain payable during periods of absence, including illness and holidays.

• Where a temporary nursery closure is required due to Government guidance, fees will remain payable.

 

Changes to Sessions or Leaving Nursery

One month's written notice, provided by email, is required if you wish to:

• Change your child's sessions

• Reduce attendance

• Withdraw your child from nursery
